FERROTRAMVIARIA: QR CODE ALLE FERMATE DEI BUS PER CONSULTARE IN “REAL TIME” ORARI E TEMPI DI ARRIVO DEL SERVIZIO AUTOLINEE
Ferrotramviaria continues its path of technological innovation and, after having activated a section dedicated to real-time monitoring on its website and app for rail and bus services for years, introduces a new feature: from today it will be possible to consult information in real time directly at bus stops.
QR codes have been installed at Ferrotramviaria bus stops that allow, simply by framing them with a smartphone connected to the internet, to view arriving and departing trips. Once the QR code has been scanned, the service allows you to monitor the status and arrival time of buses at the stop of your interest in real time, without having to download an app, register or enter personal data.
The service is in addition to the one already available via the website and app, making the monitoring of arrival times even more immediate and accessible. In addition to the QR code for monitoring, another important innovation has been installed: a second QR code that allows travellers to consult all the General Conditions of Transport in a simple way, both in Italian and in English.
To date, the system has been implemented on approximately 60% of the company stops, and the installation will be completed by the end of the year on all approximately 160 stops of the Ferrotramviaria bus service.
“With this initiative we confirm our attention towards an increasingly modern, efficient public transport service that is closer to the needs of our users,” said Nitti, General Director of Transport at Ferrotramviaria.
“Providing timely and easily accessible information in real time is essential to making travel more reliable, informed and aware. After introducing real-time monitoring on the website and app years ago, today we are taking a further step forward by bringing these features directly to the stops, making them available to everyone in an even more immediate and simple way.”
