The Group's new company has been active since the beginning of 2025 with its own fleet and a range of services dedicated to road passenger mobility.

Gruppo Ferrotramviaria S.p.A. officially announces the operational start of TAI – Trasporti Autobus Italiani, a new 100% controlled company, active from 2025.

With TAI, Ferrotramviaria expands its range of action in the integrated mobility sector, entering the road passenger transport sector with its own dedicated fleet.

The new company's main purpose is the transport of people in the following areas:

- urban, suburban, and interurban

- tourist, with national and European services

- transfers to/from intermodal hubs and points of interest

- replacement rail services with buses

TAI stands out from the bus service already operated by Ferrotramviaria S.p.A., which continues to be provided in compliance with the service contract in force with the Puglia Region, representing instead a new branch of activity with national and international ambitions.

TAI's entry into the Group responds to a clear strategy of diversification and enhancement of the offer, with the aim of establishing itself in the road passenger transport sector through flexible, interconnected and quality-oriented services.

With this further initiative, the Ferrotramviaria Group consolidates its role as an integrated mobility operator, already active in:

- Local public rail transport

- Management of the railway infrastructure

- Rail freight transport (through T.F.I. Trasporti Ferroviari Italiani)

- Railway professional training (with For.Fer Srl)

- Engineering services carried out for over 300 million euros of total works in the last 10 years (through    Ferrotramviaria Engineering SpA)

With TAI, the Group looks to the future with an increasingly complete, intermodal and sustainable offer, capable of responding to the needs of modern and constantly evolving mobility.
