Intervention Title:

Upgrading of Barletta Scalo Station with Interconnection to the RFI Network, including the renovation of Barletta Scalo Station, hydraulic regulation of the Ciappetta-Camaggio Canal, construction of a new railway bridge over the canal, and a road overpass to eliminate two level crossings, including electrification and track infrastructure.

Description:

The implementation of these works falls within the broader "Major Project" aimed at upgrading the railway system in the northern Bari metropolitan area.

The project includes five main interventions:

1. Closure of level crossings at km 67+781.18 and km 67+325 along the FNB railway line, with the simultaneous construction of a railway overpass and adjacent road infrastructure;

2. Expansion of the Ciappetta-Camaggio Canal;

3. Widening of the existing railway bridge at km 67+811 along the FNB line;

4. Modernization of Barletta Scalo Station;

5. Development of interoperability at Barletta Centrale Station, between the regional infrastructure manager’s network and the national network.
